Holy Week Schedule

We have been focusing on the series "Wandering Heart" during this Lent-Easter season.  The series focuses on the life and faith of Jesus' disciple Peter.  In Peter, we often see ourselves.  By following Peter's journey, we watch the story of Jesus unfold through the eyes of a very normal human trying to figure it all out - just like us.  Come join us as we conclude the series during Holy Week; Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Sunday.

Palm Sunday

March 24

The next day the great crowd that had come for the festival heard that Jesus was on his way to Jerusalem. They took palm branches and went out to meet him, shouting,

“Hosanna!”

“Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”

“Blessed is the king of Israel!”

Maundy Thursday

6:00 pm

Come join us on Maundy Thursday for a pot luck supper and show.  Bring your favorite side dish or dessert.  Come meet new friends and visit with old as we fellowship over supper.  At 6:30, we will have a show about all of Jesus' disciples.

Good Friday

6:00 pm - Tenebrae Service

Simon Peter asked him, “Lord, where are you going?” Jesus replied, “Where I am going, you cannot follow now, but you will follow later.”  Peter asked, “Lord, why can’t I follow you now? I will lay down my life for you.” Then Jesus answered, “Will you really lay down your life for me? Very truly I tell you, before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times!
