We offer 2 and 4 day programs. The 2 day programs are Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday. Our 4 day program is Monday through Thursday. Our standard day begins at 9:15 am and ends at 1:45 pm. We do offer an extended Program for those students currently enrolled. You can choose to extended your child's day to either 2:45 pm or 3:45 pm.

At LAP Children who are three by September 1st and are potty trained register in our 3-year-old class and may choose 2 or 4 days.
Placing an emphasis on Christian beliefs and values, we will help teach your preschoolers the importance of patience, caring, sharing and kindness. They will learn how to take responsibility for their own actions while building their self-help skills.

Because 3 year old's have a strong sense of self-identity, our teachers make room for their participation when telling, singing, or reciting stories and songs. We will continue to encourage them to function independently by doing more things on their own. They also begin to make comparisons between themselves and other kids. That is why it is important for them to interact with other students of diverse culture, ethnicity and abilities. Your child’s teacher will do more matching and sorting games to help them identify similarities and differences in people and things around them.

The children will practice their listening skills while enjoying stories, finger plays during circle time and practice their developing social skills during center time and free play, both inside and outside. The curriculum will include shapes, colors, letters, name recognition, counting, number recognition, weather, days of the week and months of the year, and independent dressing. They will explore their world through hands on activities that include science experiments, music and movement, art, and dramatic play. The development of fine motor skills will be an integral part of their day to prepare then for writing in the future. They will enjoy art, cutting, gluing, and painting to name a few activities. Students will also participate in gross motor development and creative movement. Both structured and unstructured physical activity will be offered each day including both inside and outside play. Our Teachers will help your children develop critical thinking and learn at their own pace through play. They’ll build a solid foundation of language, pre-reading, and math skills ahead of their entry to Kindergarten.
