Debbie started attending Wylie UMC in 1994. She joined the preschool staff as a teacher in 1996 and transitioned over to the church office in 1998. Debbie now oversees the administrative staff and works closely with the Trustees and program staff to manage the facilities, and schedules events, meetings and weddings. She compiles and publishes the bi-weekly newsletter, The Witness, and is the keeper of church records.


Debbie grew up in Midland, Texas and attended Angelo State University. She worked in the insurance industry for over 15 years and was licensed to sell Property and Casualty and Life and Health Insurance. Matt and Debbie were married in 1983, and moved to Wylie in 1991, where they raised two children, Katie and Quentin. Debbie is an avid reader and loves to garden and be outdoors
